Since closing its Nagasaki Goto Rokujo restaurant, beloved by patrons for 11 years, the Roku Group turns over a new leaf with the opening of its new Nomikuidokoro Roku eatery! Now offering individual rooms seating parties of four to eight and an even more relaxing atmosphere, this is the perfect spot for your next dining experience.
Its cuisine boasts incredible, fresh seafood from all over Japan as well as skewers with grilled vegetables wrapped in domestically raised pork, chicken skewers infused with the flavors of savory Japanese-grown herbs, and other meat-oriented dishes.
Lunch is also available with a variety of menu items like thick-sliced sashimi lunch combos; home-cooked deep-fried horse mackerel filets, deep-fried shrimp, and tempura combos; as well as delicious fried or simmered fish combos.

Restaurant Genki-Tei serves dishes prepared with yumetororo—a type of mountain yam that’s a local specialty of Asahi. Enjoy the unique flavor and sticky texture of mountain yam. The restaurant also uses locally grown Mineasahi rice, whose small grain size and sweet taste set it apart from other varieties of rice.
Aside from mountain yam, Genki-Tei also serves Mikawa beef cooked on a smokeless grill. Give it a try! As for souvenirs, gohei-mochi made with homemade miso is a popular choice.
