Jurakuso Toyota City Hot Spring Recreational Facility for the Elderly

The hot spring at Jurakuso is one of only a few natural radon hot springs in Japan. The water will moisturize your skin, while the radon contained in it will boost your immune system. The facility’s name says “for the elderly,” but guests of any age are welcome. Come visit Jurakuso to feel the rural, at-home atmosphere and take a dip in one of the best hot springs around.

This campground has family lodges, spaces for tents, BBQ areas, and more. There's plenty for camping pros and first-timers alike to enjoy! See weeping peach blossoms in the spring, and the deep crimson leaves of rare hananoki maples in the fall. All sorts of hands-on classes are offered, and campers can enjoy these as well as sports activities such as tennis during their stay. (Note: Some classes require reservations.) The grounds also allow sledding in the winter. The slopes are safe even for small children, making it a popular spot for families to play in the snow. There is a moving walkway installed on the slope, so the little ones can sled their hearts out without getting tuckered out on the way back up to the top.
