We have been serving grilled eel since 1969. Our sauce is made with the same recipe that it has been since we opened our doors. Locals love our restaurant. Besides eel, we also serve wild boar and deer caught by the chef, who is also a hunter, as well as wild sweetfish. Our meals are served with Mineasahi rice grown by local farmers. Sansai vegetables appear on our menu in the spring, as do mushrooms in the fall. We also host parties.

If you’re not a big fan of river fish and wild game, the restaurant also serves fresh fish straight from the market and the Oku-Mikawa region’s very own Horai beef. Ha...
