Message from the Mayor
Toyota is the largest city in Aichi Prefecture and despite serving as the world’s leading manufacturing heartland city, approximately 70% of Toyota City’s area is actually forested. The city is blessed with rich nature that displays different aspects depending on the season, and also with lush greenery in fields and paddies yielding agricultural produce.
The city has diversely promising regional assets related to history, culture, arts, and sports. To hand down these beloved assets to the next generation, citizens are enjoying utilizing them in an effort called “WE LOVE TOYOTA.”
Toyota City will host Rugby World Cup matches in 2019, and we will take effective measures to share our hospitality with the visitors.
