Sollen Camp Field
A campsite by Snowpeak surrounded by the mountains with a clear stream running through
Sollen Camp Field is a new campsite, opened on October 30, 2022. Sitting at approximately 600 meters above sea level, Sollen Camp Field offers a relaxing experience 5–7 °C cooler than Toyota City's urban area. The premier location sits along a mountainous ravine for an escape from the everyday hustle and bustle. And just a stone's throw away is Tanoshiri River with red spotted masu salmon, Amur minnows, and other wildlife you can fish for without a license.
The campsite is fully equipped with shower toilets featuring heated seats and showers with changing rooms. Snowpeak gear too is available for rental, making for an easy first-time mountaineering experience. The mountain premises offer a river, dog run, play equipment, a BBQ spot, sauna field, and other perks for a fun time in the wilderness other than camping. The owner acts as a community nurse and is an avid health enthusiast—so much so that anyone able to do ten squats or visitors with a physical disability certificate can receive JPY 100 off!
