Asuke-Area
Takororin Lantern Festival is a special summer event in the Asuke area, when cylindrical lanterns known as “tankororin” line the streets and set the historical Asuke Townscape aglow. Fujioka-Area

Asahi-Area
From the spectator seats, the Asahi Yamabiko Fireworks look much closer than normal fireworks. Since the area is surrounded by mountains, they cannot shoot fireworks very high. It is to prevent fires. The fireworks therefore explode at a lower height, making it look really close!
