This 120-year-old building was relocated to the edge of the river, and now serves as a restaurant. Diners can enjoy gohei-mochi and seasonal dishes—sansai vegetables in the spring, sweetfish in the summer, mountain yam in the autumn, and boar hot pot in the winter.
If you’re not a big fan of river fish and wild game, the restaurant also serves fresh fish straight from the market and the Oku-Mikawa region’s very own Horai beef.
Have a casual teishoku set meal, or savor a full-course kaiseki meal in a tatami room.
Koshikake Sanso isn’t just a restaurant—it also offers trout fishing, barbecue, and overnight lodging. Bundle plans are available at a variety of price points.

Fresh river fish can be served in various ways—grilled, deep-fried, or raw as sashimi. Enjoy the different flavors and textures! This satisfying set meal comes with Mineasahi rice from Shimoyama and five side dishes. Taste our special homemade miso that you can’t find anywhere else.

This mountain village folk-style house built 140 years ago was moved to its current location, providing the perfect retro, warm aura for a relaxing stay among Lake Mikawa's lush natural surroundings.
