The bounty of the mountains—and all-you-can-eat!

Every year from September to November, Nohara River Tourism Center offers all-you-can-eat shiitake mushrooms freshly picked from logs. The plump mushrooms are picked that morning and brought to you to grill over charcoal.

Cost	• Sightseeing ticket: JPY 2,300 for adults / JPY 1,900 for children • Local residents: JPY 2,500 for adults / JPY 2,100 for children Notes: • Reservation required two weeks in advance for groups. • Individual customers also require a reservation as it takes 30 minutes to prepare the charcoal grill.
